A portfolio is an unlikely place to talk about Jesus. I'm going to do it anyway, because pretending the most important part of my life isn't here would be a worse kind of dishonesty.
Two things take up most of my Saturdays and a fair amount of my year: a Bible study I run called The Maturity Project, and a rest project I started called Lounge With Jesus. Here's what they are.
“He is the one we proclaim, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone fully mature in Christ.”
Colossians 1:28 NIV
A Bible study I run every Saturday at 7pm WAT, online, on Whatsapp/Telegram. Our vision is to see people become word-knowledgeable, word-compliant, and better humans through the study of scripture - changing ourselves first, then our families, then the society around us. That's the long arc. The short arc is showing up every Saturday and reading the Bible together.
We're still young. We started last year and we're finding our rhythm, small group, honest conversations, sessions that run longer than they should. It's open to anyone.

A Christian rest project I started for the people quietly keeping the world running, the ones working behind the scenes of every place we live, eat, and shop, who rarely get a real day off.
We give them one. Food, lounging, real conversation about Jesus, with no agenda beyond that. It's the best thing I'm part of.
These are images from our very first episode.

Apostle Joshua Selman once said that people are a compendium or processes. I agree. This is also backed biblically in Job 38:33 and Leviticus 9:6 - where we can see that God respects patterns.
We believe that a pattern of studying God’s word and fellowshipping with strangers allows us to fulfill our purpose on earth, as light set on a hill. We are desperate to be good examples, a reflection of our saviour in study of the word and in evangelism.

Because every other section of this site is something I do. This is something I am. The two aren't separate, and I'd rather you know that going in.
If any of this sounds like something you want in on - The Maturity Project on Saturday nights, or LWJ when we host, the door is open. Email me and we will set something up.
